In an earlier post , I suggested that TARP funds would be an enormously corrupting influence. There was no specific purpose for the funds, so they would just be a grab bag for special interests and thieves.

Although this piece is partisan, it is only the beginning. The 20 criminal investigations will morph into hundreds (or more), and the story will become mainstream. When that much money is loosed on the table, there are only Sinners...no Saints.
As always, the core of the problem is our uncontrolled tax and spend policy. The search for scapegoats is probably already underway. Don't be distracted or fooled. Our representatives (which we elected) are the enablers of this problem. Demand real change...a new tax and spend policy as proposed by the Hedge Tax.
